CAREGIVERS mission is to promote the health, well-being, dignity and independence of frail, homebound elders through one-on-one relationships with trusted volunteers.
Our vision is ”Dignity for Life”
CAREGIVERS provides non-medical, in-home support services and transportation for homebound, frail elders, preventing their premature placement into board and care facilities and making it possible for them to continue to live in the comfort and security of their own homes.
We are seeking a person of strong character and service-orientation with demonstrated administrative skills to be the Executive Director for CAREGIVERS. He / She must have a minimum of two years (or equivalent) in administering a non-profit agency. This includes policy development, personnel and fiscal management, fund raising, grant writing and public relations experience. The successful candidate must have the ability to devise, plan and implement new programs. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is desired and a master’s degree is preferred.
The Executive Director will be a visionary leader and team builder with a positive image and strong communication skills. He / She must be a dynamic leader and fundraiser and have the ability to elevate CAREGIVERS’ profile in the community. The Executive Director will have a passion and ability to motivate others to fulfill our mission and our vision.
